About ExploreCME
ExploreCME is a study platform for healthcare students. Take quizzes by organ system, task area and topic, review detailed explanations, use flashcards, and follow your performance over time. Faculty and programs can also assign quizzes and review class results.
How Our Questions Are Created
- Aligned to exam content: Questions are generated by organ system, topic and task area following the exam blueprint, so practice mirrors the content of the real exam.
- Written as clinical vignettes: Each question uses a unique patient scenario, five plausible answer choices, and an explanation of why the answer is correct. Questions go beyond "most likely diagnosis" to ask about mechanisms, next steps, treatment and complications.
- Independently verified: Every question is answered by separate verification passes. A question is kept only when the verifiers agree with the intended answer with high confidence, and it is also rated for difficulty.
- Reviewed by educators: Faculty can review, edit and approve questions before assigning them.
Automated verification supports, but does not replace, clinical review. Questions are for educational use only.
